What Happens When You Let Your Body Lead

I just jumped on a train—literally, one minute before it departed.

This morning, I had no idea I’d be writing this—from an Amtrak seat, watching the scenery roll by.

I love my routine:
✨ Wake up naturally
✨ Morning ritual, calls, meals, walks
✨ Consistency that keeps my solopreneur life grounded

But lately, I’ve had an urge…
To break the rules.
To take a random train ride.
To play.

Every time the idea popped up, something else took priority—a client call, a masterclass, a meeting.

Until this morning.

At 7:55am, over breakfast, I remembered:
Today is #PlayWensDay. (where I take Wednesday afternoon off to do whatever I want)

The next train with an observation car?
8:25am.
Was I crazy to even consider it?

My mind screamed:
“You’ll miss it!”
“You have a call!”
“You didn’t plan this!”

But my body moved faster than my doubts.
I packed. I ran.
And I jumped on—with one minute to spare.

No Wi-Fi. No charger. Just me, the tracks, and this moment.

I’m grateful for the privilege:
🌿 To pause my business without panic
🌿 To spend $150 on joy
🌿 To live close enough to chase a spontaneous yes

But even more, I’m proud I didn’t dismiss my desire.

This is my life—and I get to create it, moment by moment.

When’s the last time you let your body lead?

It might be exactly what you need.

Loving you,
Wen
