Fall Color And a Love Poem

It has been a busy 2 weeks of traveling, socializing, and learning. I went to New Hampshire for the first time. The fall foliage was spectacular!

Yesterday was the first day of an intensive coaching program with just a small curated group of people. I set the intention to expand my range and show up fully.

Half way through the day, the coach read a poem he wrote for us that very morning. I was touched and admired him for his talent. Then, the next thing he said was – “take out a piece of paper and start writing a poem. It’s okay if you hate me now. You have 5 minutes to write it.”

Wow. I never thought I could write a poem. Where do I even begin?

Remarkably, my hand just started writing. It’s like those words just flew out of my heart. So I wrote one in 5 minutes.

I then learn it’s always in me. I just didn’t know. I continue to be surprised by what human are capable of once we let go of the “I can’t” stories.

I dedicate my first ever poem to all my readers.

You. Yes you.
The one and only YOU in this world.

Put down your armor.
Forget about proving yourself.
Stop hiding behind the rules.
Don’t rush to what’s next.

Breath.
Feel your body.
Feel you.

You have everything you need to be the amazing you!
You are what the world needs.
You are what you need.

Walk to the edge to see there is more ground for you.
You are ready.
And, I cannot wait to get to know you, fully!

Love,
Wen
