“Wen, who do you think is the luckiest person in the world?” – a table topic master asked me in a toastmaster meeting.
In my quest of speaking with greater impact, I enrolled in a toastmaster club to increase the chance of impromptu and skill-focused speaking opportunities. (did I mention I love taking tiny steps toward my stretch goals? 😎)
I searched through my head, I honestly can’t think of one person. Instead, it’s a group.
“Well. I think the luckiest people in the world are the ones who feel love and joy. It doesn’t matter what their titles are, how much they make, what they have done, or what they have owned. If they can fully receive and give love and joy, they are the luckiest people in the world.”
Moreover, when I ask myself by the end of day – did I fully receive and give love and joy today? If the answer is yes. Then I’m the luckiest person in the world!”
Just like that, I won the table topic contest!
Winning the contest is not important, but winning my everyday life is.
How about you?
Who do you think is the luckiest person in the world?
Love,
Wen
