Almost every immigrant woman leader I coach wants to be more confident.
Here’s the secret (and repeat after me):
Confidence is the result of taking action.
Confidence is the result of taking action.
Confidence is the result of taking action.
Now, you might wonder—what does it take to take action?
Courage.
And guess what? You already have it.
- It took courage to leave behind everything familiar and start fresh in a new country.
- It took courage to navigate new cultures, new systems, and new rules of success.
- It took courage to step into leadership—balancing the pressure to “fit in” with the responsibility to “stand out.”
We’ve done all this despite the challenges of gender, cultural, and racial inequality.
So yes, we are courageous.
But sometimes, we forget.
When we forget:
❌ We overwork just to prove we deserve our spot.
❌ We dim our voices to make others comfortable.
❌ We sacrifice who we are to “fit in.”
❌ We fail to ask for what we’re worth.
But remember — we did not uproot ourselves just to play small.
🔥 We are here to create generational wealth and redefine success against all odds.
🔥 We are here to lead boldly, unapologetically, and on our own terms.
Now is the time to own your leadership, trust yourself, and take action.
Through action, we experiment our way to infinite possibilities.
Through action, we evolve into confident leaders—not by waiting, but by deciding.
Through action, we become the role models we always wished we had.
You are not alone. And, you’ve got this!
Loving you,
Wen
