I am a lover of morning walks. As I walk, I observe. I feel the wind at my fingertips. I see the trees and their branches. I am amazed by the colors of flowers. I touch and smell the grass. I hear the birds chirping. I fill my lungs with fresh air. It’s how I wash away the old from yesterday and kindle my fire and appreciation for the day.

Here is what I learn from my walks:
- Acceptance: Nature doesn’t care about opinions or judgments. It simply exists in its perfect form, reminding us to embrace who we are without seeking approval from others.
- Embracing Change: The symphony of weather—cold, hot, sun, rain, wind—mirrors our emotional landscapes. Just as nature thrives in varied conditions, our lives are enriched by diverse experiences and emotions.
- Significance in the Small: A small garden is home to dozens of species—trees, flowers, fruits, and butterflies. Each one, no matter how small, plays a significant role. Similarly, every action and every person in our lives has importance.
- Respecting Rhythms: Nature has its cycles of growth and rest. Understanding and respecting these rhythms teaches us the value of rest and the necessity of renewal, even when it involves letting go of the old to make way for the new.
- Unique Beauty: No two plants are exactly alike, each with its own height, shape, and color. This diversity in nature reflects the uniqueness of each person, reminding us to celebrate our individuality.
- Nurturing Growth: Plants need water, sun, wind, and soil to flourish. Similarly, humans need self-love, a sense of belonging, and community support to thrive. Nurturing these aspects is essential for our well-being.
- Patience and Potential: A seed takes time to sprout. Just because we can’t see progress doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Trust in the unseen efforts and the potential lying beneath the surface.
- Foundations Matter: What’s below the soil is as important as what’s visible above. Our mental strength and the unseen efforts we invest are crucial for our growth and success.
When is the next time you will be in nature?
What is nature telling you?
